FAYE RAMONA WATTS
Faye R. Watts, 75, Odessa, died May 5, 2009, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Blue Springs [Missouri].
She was born August 21, 1933, the daughter of Virgil Albert and Nellie Elda Harp Brehm, in Goldendale, Wash. [sic]
She graduated from Portland State Univeristy in Oregon with a master's degree and taught art at the Portland Art Museum for approximagely six years.
She married Douglas Alson Watts, Jr., on February 15, 1950, in Washougal, Wash. [sic] He preceded her in death on July 17, 2007.
Mrs. Watts has lived in Odessa for 31 years, moving here from Vancouver, Wash. [sic]
She was a member of the Buckner Valley Restoration Branch Church, Buckner [Missouri].
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Douglas Watts, Odessa, Steven Glenn Watts of Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters, Sandra Lee Tomkins, Independence [Missouri], Christine Faye King, Odessa; two sisters, Bonnie Ross, Pasco, Wash. [sic], Leta Brewer, Independence; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. [She was also survived by her mother, Nellie Elda Harp Brehm Wong of Kennewick, Washington, who at the time was 97 years old, though this was not mentioned in the obituary -- contributed by Terry Stone, webmaster and cousin to Faye Watts].
Graveside services were held Saturday at Greenton Cemetery, rural Odessa, with Elder Marlin Frye officiating.
