IN MEMORIAM:
Mrs. Caroline Hardy, age 77, of 7685 25 Mile Rd., Washington, died Saturday December 9, 1978 at Wm. Beaumont Hospital -- Troy.
She was born Oct. 30, 1901 in Detroit the daughter of Emil and Marietta Klanosky. On July 6, 1920 she married Ernest Adam Hardy in Detroit. She was a 16 year resident of this area.
Mrs. Hardy is survived by her husband, Ernest, five sons; Ernest Jr. of Ala., Harold of St. Clair Shores, Marlin of Anchorville, Gary of Avoca, Larry of Washington, five daughters; Irene Henning of Alanson, Olive Hardy of Washington, Ruth Reaville of Washington, Delores Rankin of Pontiac, Mary Ellen Soulliere of Oxford, her sister, Clara Fowler of Clare, 35 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the Diener Funeral Home, 48271 Van Dyke, Utica and at St. Claude's Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m., Father Edward Wilk will officiate. Burial will be in Cadillac East Cemetery. Scripture service Sunday evening at 8:15 at the Diener Funeral Home.
